Forsyth Park

Ever since I read the book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" I have wanted to visit Savannah Georgia. In the book Forsyth Park plays a part  with the author seeing many interesting people and things and meeting new people. I am not going to give a full recount of the book here, will just let you read it for yourself.

I was able to get here though in May of 2016, doing a nice long road trip through Georgia seeing so many things I wanted to see to include this Park. I actually want to return to it at some point to spend more time there getting hopefully even better pictures than the ones I was able to get.

The day I was there as you can tell was a damn near perfect day. With the sun out, the wind blowing, and just a few clouds in the sky. I could not have asked for a better day to have walked through this park. While I was in Savannah I actually made the effort to walk through it a few times.

The park is quite large and has been part of the city for over 150 years, with the fountain even dating back to 1858. You can just sit back and relax and absorb the astonishing beauty that surrounds you.

Definitely a must see when in Savannah. I hope everyone likes the pictures.
